You may be asking yourself why I did not name this movie by its full name, the reason: movie-which-shall-not-be-named. I saw the movie yesterday and the only feeling I had after watching it was shame. Either the movies purpose was to create an insanely large buildup for the final movie in which all questions are answered in a seven hour Potter extravaganza! or they just destroyed all hope of having a decent Harry Potter ending (especially if directed by David Yates). This movie spent a load of time on non-important scenes and sequences and not nearly enough time on the ending or buildup to it for that matter. I had many questions like “Why is this going on?” and “WTF?!”. Epic Fail. They do not explain how the half-blood prince is the half-blood prince. (I figured that if a movie is going to have a name in it, it will at least explain why this is throughout the movie, instead of just naming it in the resolution-less two minute ending.) I am seriously disappointed. I felt like there was no actual concrete important happenings. For example, in the movie, Ron is being stalked by a girl that likes him, and the movie spent a solid thirty minutes on just that, at least those thirty minutes where not all together. Thank God! The worst part of it was that, the only reason why they showed Ron’s affairs so much was in order for Hermione to become jealous. Lame. If i were to rate this movie by the thumbs on my hands, it would receive a solid TWO thumbs down. If you are a series Potter fan just wait until it comes out on DVD, not worth the eight dollars per person at the theaters.
Let me know what you thought about it!
