HP Notebook
There are many important things to look at when buying a laptop. Price, power, and how it will help you are probably amongst your most important worries. But enough of that, you know what you need, obviously! What you probably DON’T know is that you have a limited, very limited, exchange or return policy on your product. If there is anything wrong, whatever it is, after this return policy ends, your finished! There is “nothing” that the company can do after this time, no matter how good your warranty is. For example, though they do not tell you directly, HP only gives you 21 days after purchasing your product to test every single little thing on your computer to make sure that it is not faulty. So, I would recommend that you do just that, try EVERYTHING out, it’s a drag, but this could save you from getting devastatingly mad, seriously! :/
Yet another important thing to look at, that most people do not pay attention to is, the video card for your new, and expensive, HP laptop. If planning to play video games, I wouldn’t mess with Intel. Period. Especially with their inexpensive “Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD” or their “Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family”. Though their description says that it “delivers rich and advanced features for 3D gaming and other 3D graphics applications”, it really doesn’t. Actually when using this chipset, with pretty much any game, this video card WILL NOT even attempt to open the program. When I found this out, I decided to call the company that made the game, EA Sports. A customer service representative told me that the game will not run with, specifically, the “Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD” or the “Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family” ! So be very very carful when purchasing your product, especially from HP’s website.
