I you think Wii Fit and Wii Sports is a new concept, you are wrong. Today on eBay an original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) along with five games was sold for $13,105. The NES console itself or the five games it was sold with was not worth all that money, it was actually only the box in which the 1987 game Family Fun Fitness Stadium Events came in that is worth $10,000 dollars. Not just a box, a true collector’s item, it is believed that fewer than 10 complete copies of the game exist today. The game came with a Family Fun Fitness Pad in which players stepped on rapidly to run and play all the games. The pad could very well be the ancestor of today’s Wii Fit Balance Board.
When you do your spring cleaning take a second look at all the boxes in your attic, they might be worth some money.
