What a week of celebrity news!

Posted On Tuesday June 30th, 2009

Michael Jackson (The King of Pop), Farrah Fawcett (Model, Actress), Ed Mcmahon (Entertainer, Veteran), Billy Mays (Advertisement salesperson, and host of Pitchmen) all died in the last seven days!

It seems that everyone was beginning to forget about Michael Jackson but not anymore. It came so unexpected, at least for me it did, the king of pop dead and with multiple stories are coming out about his death, some of with contradict others. Was Michael murdered? What will the autopsy prove? Will Neverland Ranch become a museum? What about the $400 million dollar debt that he was in before his death? ….who knows will have to wait patiently and attentively to what the heck is going to happen. BTW MJ had three of his albums sell 100,000 copies each in just the last week!!!

Farrah Fawcett also died in the last week. She passed away due to cancer. Although she was going through chemotherapy she eventually lost the battle. She was 62.

Ed Mcmahon died on the twenty-third of this month. He was hospitalized earlier due to pneumonia and was said to have died peacefully in his sleep. He will be recognized for his iconic “Hereeees Johnny!” on Johnny Carson’s Late Night Show. He was 86.

Another death plaguing Hollywood was the death of Billy Mays. He was the “King of Infomercials” and had a style that is easily recognizable. There was suspicions that he died due to a head injury that he received on a rough landing by an aircraft but his autopsy proves that this is not true. According to TMZ, he died of complications with heart disease. He was 50.

generic

Generic drugs usually cost much less than brand name drugs. The Food and Drug Administration, through a strict and rigorous process, analyze every generic drug to make sure it is as safe and effective as the brand name drug. A generic drug is made of the same chemicals as brand name and are just as effective.

Song Of The Week!

Posted On Monday June 29th, 2009

I love music! So I feel like posting something cool and naughty, JK. Starting every Monday there will be a song name posted that I believe is killer fun and represents what mood you should be in during the upcoming week. They might be popular bands and songs but there is not much gratification in looking up a common song and it would be complete tomfoolery for you to listen to a song that already plays on the radio. So I shall tell you of a song that has a unique style and taste for the senses, mostly hearing. But anyway, here it goes, you can find the songs I post on Amazon (there is a link to that on by clicking on the Album Art). Just look up the song and purchase it, if your feeling adventurous purchase the whole CD!!!

Song Of The Week:

“Arizona” by Kings of Leon

Album: Because Of The TimesBecause Of The Times

The reason that I selected this song is because it has a melancholic beat with passionate lyrics. The title and rhythm reminds of Arizona, and Arizona reminds me of heat; it kind of goes with the current weather. It is also a good song to relax to, to put one in a pensive mood. So look it up, buy it, and enjoy my friends!

Buy the store brand

Buy Store Brand

Store Brand

If you are someone who always buys brand name products without looking at the price, you could be paying too much. Many stores have their own brand and many times their products are made by the same company that makes the products of well known brands, and this does not mean the products have less nutrients nor less vitamins. In fact, it is very probable that you will not notice any difference in taste or quality. But, if for any reason you happen to not like the taste or quality of the store brand product, in many cases, the store will allow you to exchange it for the name brand you know or some other brand you will like to try. Store brand products, almost always, cost less than well known name brands and usually are of the same quality.
